Laura got introduced to Forró by Brazilian friends in Passau/Germany and Spain and started participating in classes regularly in 2019. Benefitting from her experience in various other dance styles, she soon became a committed Forrozeira. After moving to Hamburg, she joined the Forró Projeto Orga team and has ever since assisted in teaching regular classes on different levels from beginners to advanced in both Universitario and Roots style. She has meanwhile also been teaching Forró classes at Hamburg university sports – focussing on spreading the joy of dancing, establishing a mindful connection with your partners and playing around with the music in creative ways both from the perspective of followers and leaders.
