Join us on the 5th, 6th and 7th of June in Hamburg for a brilliant event brought to you by Capoeira for All CIC and Capoeira Angola Hamburg Süd. The seminar will be tailor made by us, the participants and facilitated and led by Mestre Omri Ferradura with support from Eleanor Liverakou from Capoeira for All CIC and Karl (Pirulito) Michaelis from Capoeira Angola Hamburg Süd. It is going to be a collaborative setting.
Mestre Ferradura has been practicing Capoeira with children and adults for decades and is considered one of the visionary thinkers of a new generation of masters in Brazil. He has developed a scientifically based and practically proven methodology – Brincadeira de Angola.
We will explore the ways of teaching Capoeira to adults and children, hold discussions and training on the didactics, methodology, philosophy and varying creative teaching practices and techniques.
This year we aim to create a fully bespoke 3 day course for you. We will collect questions and topics of discussion from each participant and mould the training around the most relevant and current topics about teaching and practicing Capoeira in a professional setting. It will enrich your understanding of yourself as a Capoeira practitioner and teacher and provide a platform to discuss creative and innovative methods of teaching. We would love to hear about your experience and/or methods of teaching Capoeira, so please do get in touch if you would like to submit a short paper or presentation that can enrich the 3 day course.
During the three full days there will also be time to share experiences with other teachers, knowledge and to widen your network.
The course is a stand-alone course, independent from last year´s course and everyone is welcome to take part and share their experiences.

Venue
The course takes place in the Reiherstiegviertel in Hamburg, at the Academia of Capoeira Angola Hamburg Süd and also the Scheinwerfer Dance Center. Both rooms will be used for the common learning & welcome roda on Thursday evening.
This year we are happy to announce that we have a fully inclusive (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Vegan catering option available! This way we can enjoy each other’s company over delicious, locally sourced food.
Accommodation is also available in a nearby venue.
Pricing: €370 for the 3 full days of the course plus full catering.
